Tuesdays at First Presbyterian Church SLO 981 Marsh Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 4:00 - 4:50pm: Music Makers (ages 3-6) ---> grades TK-1 + preschool 4:00 - 5:15pm: Aria Choir (ages 7-12) ---> grades 2-6 4:00 - 5:30pm: Cantate Choir (ages 12-18) ---> grades 6+ 5:35 - 6:10pm: Grace Notes (ages 12-18) ---> grades 6+ (auditioned) |

No prior singing experience is required to join the Brio or Cadence choruses, and no audition is necessary. Auditions for upper level choristers are held in a friendly, supportive environment. Weekly rehearsals are scheduled during after-school hours, and include musicianship, vocal training, and performance opportunities.

Repertoire is selected to fit the skill level of each choir. Selections include established classical works and folk songs from around the world, as well as contemporary styles. Music is chosen with the goal of challenging young musicians as they learn age-appropropriate repertoire. Choristers grow in self-discipline and confidence and achieve artistic excellence under the direction of dedicated music professionals.
